Amazing Christmas Gifts

I hope you all had a great Christmas and that Santa was good to you.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates with their new supplies.  I was so spoiled this Christmas by all of my family.  I am so excited to play with my new Gypsy and cartridges, that my DH gave me.  Don't you just love the card rack my DD got me.  We were out shopping together when we found it and they only had two so we bought each other one.  Also on Boxing Day we did our Christmas with my Step-daughter and I got a printer.  I also went out shopping on Boxing Day and whenever I go into Wal-Mart I go straight to the craft section and the first thing I saw was the Jolly Holidays cartridge that I have been drooling over, so I grabbed it.  We went to Michael's and I got a few Jet Max cubes to try and organize my craft room.  I am back to work tomorrow but as soon as I get it reorganized I will post photos.

**Just to let you know the card rack/display stand is from Home Sense in Canada, it is a division of Marshall's and TJ Maxx.**

                                                              Have a Happy New Year!

Stylish Blogger Award

I have received a Stylish Blogger Award from 2 amazing bloggers.  I just can't believe that people really like my creations.  When I first started scrap booking about 10 years ago it was so overwhelming for me.  My daughter could just whip a page and it looked beautiful.  Ever since I got my cricut last year and started stamping the creativity has just started to flow.  I spend all my spare time crafting now and it is a wonderful hobby for my daughter and I too share.

I would like to thank the Craftsmanda at .  You must check out her beautiful scrapbook pages that she made for a friends baby.
I would also like to thank Sonia at .  Sonia gives awesome tips,  shows fabulous finds and  videos showing crafting tools and how to use them.  I have learnt so much from Sonia's blog.

1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this

2. Share 8 things about yourself
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered

4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their awards
Share 8 things about myself:
1.  My brother is home for Christmas from Vietnam where he is teaching.  He will be at my house tomorrow for a couple of days.  I can't wait to see him, I haven't seen him for 1 1/2 years.
2.  My Aunt and Uncle are here visiting from England.  My Mom and my Aunt are twins and turn 65 yrs old on Christmas Eve.
3.  I love Christmas.  I love to see the kids open their gifts and I am very excited for some new craft supplies.
4.  I look forward to once a year going to Erie, Pa shopping.  We sure don't get the same deals in Canada.  Last time I came home with a whole suitcase of DCWV paper.
5.  I am done my Christmas shopping and wrapping. Whew!
6.  I am going to reorganize and move the furniture around in my craft room after the holidays.  Stay tuned for photo's.
7.  I work full-time for a cheque cashing business.  I have done this for 22 years off and on.  In between I worked for 5 years in a factory that manufactured brake pads.
8.  I get really irritated with people when I get behind the wheel.

Now 8 blogs that I have recently found and really enjoy the work that they do.  These blogs are an assortment of cricut, stamping and decor.

Christmas Cards

I finally got my Christmas cards done and mailed out.  I did basically the same layout for all, just different stamps.  I can't believe I didn't even use my cricut.  All the stamps are Stampin Up.

Vinyl Wall Decor

It doesn't count as spending money on yourself when you buy a cartridge to make a Christmas gift, right?  I bought the Cars Disney/Pixar cartridge and ruby glitter, black, white and yellow vinyl from Oh My Crafts.  I cut the car at 6.5", the "McQueen" at 2" and my grandson's name is AJ and that is cut at 1".  I cut it first out of paper so I knew where all the pieces went and that the size was right.  The frame is a floating frame for an 8"x 10" picture.

I would like to thank everyone for stopping by and leaving such nice comments.  I hope you will come back and visit again.  I really appreciate all the support and encouragement.

I have picked the winner using

'Tis The Season Blog Hop

Welcome to the " 'Tis The Season Blog Hop".  If you came here from my friend Heather's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to follow the blog hop then go to the start at Iva's blog .

My project is tile coasters.  I went to Home Depot and bought a box of 4 x 4" tumbled marble tiles.  I stamped on them using Staz-On ink.  You do not need to do anything to these tiles to seal them.

On the tiles below I coloured them with Sharpie permanent markers.  These tiles I did put in the oven at 200 F, for an hour.  They probably don't need to be in there that long but I had them in there while I was doing other things.
After I had made these my husband the handyman decided that they needed a holder.  So he made me these to go with each set of 4 coasters.
I wrapped a ribbon around them tied a bow and added a tag cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.
My giveaway for this blog hop is these two adorable Peachy Keen Mini stamps.  To be eligible to win you just have to follow my blog and leave a comment.  I will be using to pick a winner on Monday morning.
The next stop on this blog hop is Ellen at .

Thanks for stopping by.
