March Open Crop

Saturday March 2, I will be hosting the Open Crop at Michaels in Guelph.  If you are local, pack up your project and supplies and come on by.  It is 3-9pm and only $5.00.  You get to use any of the tools that we have in the classroom including the Cricut and Cuttlebug and enjoy sharing with others.  Also pick up some tips and techniques along the way.  We will also do a little tour of the scrapbook section of the store and go over some of the products.
Each month we have a sketch for a scrapbook page for you to follow.  This is the scrapbook page that I made for our class using this month sketch.
Stop by on Saturday and check out how it was made or check out your local Micheals for your Open Crop.

Thanks for stopping by.

10 Months 'til Christmas 2013 Blog Hop

Another month down!  Where does the time go?  If you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop along with us then go to Shari's blog to start at the begining.
This year we are doining two projects, they could be cards, bags, tags, anything to do with Christmas and we will be have a theme each month.  This months theme is Red, White and another colour, I chose Green.
My first project is a card using Copic markers and I also used my Silhouette to cut out the digi stamp.  The digi is Lantern Marci by La La Land stamps
R24, R29, R35, R59
C3, C5, C7, 100
YG61, YG63, YG67
Y11, Y13, Y15, YR02, YR21
E000, E00, E11, R20

My second project is a decor item.  I used a file from the Silhouette online store and cut out each of the layers.  Do you see how thin the font is for the  "Tis the".  That was cut with the Silhouette out of cardstock.  Have I told you how much I love the Sihouette Cameo?  Well, actually I think I have many times (lol), but I really do.  After I layered everything and glittered the letters with my glitter pen I placed it in a 5x7 frame.
This month our guest designer is the very talented Janis from Pause Dream Joy.  Your next stop on the blog hop is  Tara's blog
