Throwback Thursday Challenge~Birthday Theme

This weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is a Birthday theme.  You must use a Birthday balloon, cake or hat.
I chose to use the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  I cut off the heart shaped balloon and replaced it with the My Creative Time circle and scalloped circle dies for the balloon.  I also used the MCT All Around Birthday stamp and a little group of hearts from the 100% Sweetness stamp set.  The black and white background is from the Teresa Collins Black & White Imagine cartridge.  The pink paper and ribbon is Melon Mambo by SU.

Thanks for stopping by.

Gift Bags and a Baby Shower Card

These are two gifts bags that I made last weekend.  One was for my Nephews birthday.  He just got a fishing rod and tackle box so I bought him some fake worms, bobbers and a fish scale, so I had to decorate his gift bag to go along with it.  I cut the fisher man at 5" from Everyday Paper Dolls Dress Up.
The second gift bag was for the baby shower that I made the scrapbook and banner for.  I cut the baby from the Baby Steps cartridge also at 5"
This is the card that I made to go along with the gift.  I used the Baby Boutique Imagine cartridge for the carriage.  I printed it on a light blue paper.  I used the Labels Four Spellbinder die, SU stamp, Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder and Bashful Blue paper and Ribbon.  I used my new Bow Easy to make the double bow.

Baby Boy Scrapbook

Well after many hours of work I finally finished one of the baby scrapbooks that I started.  I started off doing a boy and a girl layout at the same time but a co-worker of mine is having a boy and we are having a shower for her on Friday.  I spent about 20 hrs this week to finish it up.  At least now I have the cuts saved on my Gypsy so it will be easier for the next one.
All of the patterned paper is from the Baby Boy DCWV stack and the cardstock is all Stampin Up.  I used Baby Steps for most of the layouts but I did also use B is for Boy, New Arrivals,  and 9 Months.  I also used the Nursery Tails Imagine cartridge for the Announcement layout and all of the journalling tags that I tucked behind the photo mats.
Some of these layouts I have already posted but I wanted to show them all together.

It's A Boy Banner

I made this "It's A Boy" banner for a co-workers shower.  We are having a shower for her at work on Friday.  She is having a boy and calling him Elias.  I have been working late into the night trying to finish the baby boy scrapbook for her gift, so I will have lots of photo's to post of that.

I used the B is for Boy Lite cartridge, the Baby Steps cartridge and the Cricut Alphabet that comes loaded on the E2.
The banner is cut at 5.5" and the letters at 2".  For the rosettes each uses 2 strips of 1.5" x 12".

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to come back tomorrow for some baby layouts.

Soccer Player~Copic Card

I bought this soccer player stamp at the Scrapfest that I was at recently.  I bought it specifically for my Nephew's birthday card.  This stamp even looks like him.
I used Copics to colour it and then cut it out with a Spellbinder die and used the Tim Holtz blender to ink around the stamp while it was still in the die so that it has a white border.

Supplies:
Paper:  Real Red, Big Top Birthday Paper, Tempting Turquoise (SU), White (Georgia Pacific)
Ink:  Tuxedo Black (Momento), Broken China (TH)
Stamps:  The Kenny K Collection (Whimsy Stamps), All Around Birthday Time (My Creative Time)
Dies:  Labels Four (Spellbinders), Scalloped and Stitched Circle Die (MCT)
Punch: Zig Zag (MS)
Embossing Folder: Polka Dots 5 x 7(Cuttlebug)
Copics:  E00, E000, W3, C5, 100, E23, E35, R29, R35, R59

I am going to enter this into the Whimsy Stamps blog challenge for this week.

Throwback Thursday Challenge~Frame

This weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time is to use a frame.  I used a simple frame from the Fancy Frames Project cartridge.  The stamps and paper are all from Stampin Up.
I welded 2 of the frames together using my gypsy and I hid the center rectangle.  I cut the third frame using the patterned paper and then just  stamped the bride and groom with VersaMark and used white embossing powder to heat emboss it.

Thanks for stopping by!
