Throwback Thursday Challenge -Challenge 98

Post number 2 for today and another challenge. Emma over at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ has her weekly Throwback Thursday Challenge. I love Emma's challenges and have participated in every Throwback challenge. This week the challenge is to make an "old school" card, no machines. I love my stamps and use them along with my cricut usually. The stamp set that I used today is one that I love but have not used until now. The sentiment is perfect, "The best things in life are made not bought".

Supplies:
Paper: cardstock (Recollections), All Dressed Up Stack (DCWV)
Ink: Assorted Stampin Write Markers and Tuxedo Black (Memento Ink)
Embellishments: Buttons (Joanne's)
Stamps: Totally Tess (SU)

I love the colours together.
Supplies:
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel (SU) and DSP (not sure of the name but it is retired SU)
Cartridge: Doodlecharms
Ink: Rich Razzleberry (SU) White gelly roll pen

My Pink Stamper "Anything Goes" Challenge

Robyn over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ has a challenge going on today and "Anything Goes". Well I just got the PK Make a Monster face assortment and wanted to use it and I just got the Freshly Picked cartridge. Now this is certainly not a Halloween cartridge but I thought the garden gnome would look pretty evil with a monster face. I didn't have a Halloween sentment so I wrote my own. I used the October 31st cart for the tombstone and PDDU for the grave.

Supplies:
Paper: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip (SU), Spooktacular Stack (K & Company)
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Black pen (Marvy), White gelly roll
Punches: Word Window, Modern Label (SU)
Glossy Accents

PPA58

I just came across a challenge over at http://www.palspaperarts.com/ that I thought I would try. Fifteen minutes later this is what I had. As soon as I saw the challenge was clean and simple and using pearls I knew I was going to use this cut from Home Accents. I love this cut, I think I am going to cut it sometime in brown vinyl with the Welcome that it shows on the cart to put in a picture frame.

Supplies
Paper: Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold, Chocolate Chip (SU)
Stamps: Well Scripted (SU)
Ink: Chocolate Chip (SU)
Embellishments: Soft Suede Ribbon (SU), Pearls (Queen & Co from AC Moore)

October 31st

These cuts are from my new cartridge October 31st. I cut the "BEWARE" at 1 1/4" and the tree at 3", I don't think I could have cut it any smaller. As it is it was difficult to cut, I don't know if it is my settings, my cricut or what but it rips or doesn't cut and I slowed the speed down. It is also a relatively new blade.
I sponged the white 5 1\4" X 4" with Almost Amethyst, Lavender Lace and Elegant Eggplant. I free hand cut the moon and sponged it with Chocolate Chip.
The 2" strip of silver cs along the bottom was punched with the Drippy Goo punch and at a quick glance looks like a cemetery.
The pumpkin inside was cut at 3" and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The card base is Elegant Eggplant cs and all supplies are SU.
