3 Months 'til Christmas Blog Hop

Another month down and just 3 months til Christmas.  If you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop then head on over to Shari's blog
So just a little run down as usual we will be creating 2 cards;

* 1 card/project to be an image (digi stamp, rubber stamp or hand drawn) coloured with any medium
(Copic, Pencils, inks, etc.)

* 1 card/project to be made with some type of die cut tool as the focal point of the card/project
(Cricut, Quickutz, Sizzix, Cuttlebug Dies, Spellbinders, etc.)
My first card is using Copics.  The image and the sentiment stamps are from SU.
Supplies:
Paper:  Jolly & Bright (Recollections)
Stamps: Seasons Greetings, Greeting Card Kids (SU)
Punches & Dies: Scalloped border punch (SU), Small oval die, Small scalloped oval die (Spellbinder)

My second card is a gift card holder.  We always have those hard to buy for people,  kids that want to pick their own gift or the Secret Santa for work.  This combines the card and gift card holder in one.

Springtime Silhouettes

Happy Labour Day!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and that the nice weather continues for awhile.
I worked Saturday and Sunday so I only had today off and I decided to spend it in my craft room playing with some stamps that I have had for awhile but haven't used much.  The set is Springtime Silhouettes by Gina K Designs.  The stamp set came with cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and brads.  Their sets and their paper are awesome.
I added some Dew Drops for embellishment and went over the stamped image with my glitter pen.
I coloured in the butterfly with assorted purple copics and of course I added some glitter.  It was cut out with
a circle spellbinder and then mounted on a lacy circle spellbinder.  The sentiment was stamped on Fancy Tag
spellbinder die.

Thanks for stopping by.
