Catching up

I have been trying out some of my new Christmas gifts.  I Cut this door hanger from Tags, Bags, boxes and More and the nail polish and "fashion queen" are from Forever Young.  Then I used my new laminator and laminated it.

This is my first project with my new Gypsy.  The background shape is from "Just Because" Cards and the wine bottle and glass are from the "Summer In Paris"  Solutions cartridge.
This card I made one in Elegant Eggplant and one in Brilliant Blue for my Mom and my Aunt for their 65th Birthday on Christmas Eve.  The shape is from Home Accents and the stamp is from Everyday Greetings by Scrappy Moms.

My Entry for MPS Design Team

As I am sure you all know by now Robyn over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ is having a Design Team call.  She has two spots available and all you have to do is link a new project to her blog.  The project can be a card, layout or other project but you must use Robyn's favourite colours, Pink,Green and Brown as well as one other colour.

Amazing Christmas Gifts

I hope you all had a great Christmas and that Santa was good to you.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates with their new supplies.  I was so spoiled this Christmas by all of my family.  I am so excited to play with my new Gypsy and cartridges, that my DH gave me.  Don't you just love the card rack my DD got me.  We were out shopping together when we found it and they only had two so we bought each other one.  Also on Boxing Day we did our Christmas with my Step-daughter and I got a printer.  I also went out shopping on Boxing Day and whenever I go into Wal-Mart I go straight to the craft section and the first thing I saw was the Jolly Holidays cartridge that I have been drooling over, so I grabbed it.  We went to Michael's and I got a few Jet Max cubes to try and organize my craft room.  I am back to work tomorrow but as soon as I get it reorganized I will post photos.

**Just to let you know the card rack/display stand is from Home Sense in Canada, it is a division of Marshall's and TJ Maxx.**

                                                              Have a Happy New Year!

Stylish Blogger Award

I have received a Stylish Blogger Award from 2 amazing bloggers.  I just can't believe that people really like my creations.  When I first started scrap booking about 10 years ago it was so overwhelming for me.  My daughter could just whip a page and it looked beautiful.  Ever since I got my cricut last year and started stamping the creativity has just started to flow.  I spend all my spare time crafting now and it is a wonderful hobby for my daughter and I too share.

I would like to thank the Craftsmanda at http://athomeink.blogspot.com/ .  You must check out her beautiful scrapbook pages that she made for a friends baby.
I would also like to thank Sonia at http://archiving-angel.blogspot.com/ .  Sonia gives awesome tips,  shows fabulous finds and  videos showing crafting tools and how to use them.  I have learnt so much from Sonia's blog.

Christmas Cards

I finally got my Christmas cards done and mailed out.  I did basically the same layout for all, just different stamps.  I can't believe I didn't even use my cricut.  All the stamps are Stampin Up.

Vinyl Wall Decor

It doesn't count as spending money on yourself when you buy a cartridge to make a Christmas gift, right?  I bought the Cars Disney/Pixar cartridge and ruby glitter, black, white and yellow vinyl from Oh My Crafts.  I cut the car at 6.5", the "McQueen" at 2" and my grandson's name is AJ and that is cut at 1".  I cut it first out of paper so I knew where all the pieces went and that the size was right.  The frame is a floating frame for an 8"x 10" picture.

Winner

I would like to thank everyone for stopping by and leaving such nice comments.  I hope you will come back and visit again.  I really appreciate all the support and encouragement.

I have picked the winner using random.org

and the winner is....
