When Provo Craft first announced the Imagine, I thought "this is awesome". I watched video's and looked at projects and then thought "no, this isn't for me". I was really convinced until just recently that I didn't want one and I was excited to see what the E2 had to offer. I loved the E2 and still do but then the Theresa Collins cartridges were released and all of a sudden I fell in love.
I was looking on Ebay last week looking for the Playtime cartridge and came across a Canadian seller with an Imagine and it was at $199 with 24 hrs to go. I told my husband and he said that would make a great anniversary gift (our 2nd anniversary is June 20th). He went online right away and placed a bid and I started watching video's on YouTube to learn whatever I could. The next day when it came down to the end he got it for $225 with only $19 for shipping. It was shipped immediately and it was here the following day while I was working a 12 hour day. I couldn't wait to get home to check it out. Everything went smoothly with the updates and syncs for the Imagine and the Gypsy. There are still some updates that I would like to see on the Gypsy to improve what can be done with the imagine but I am sure they will come.
This is the first card that I made. I needed a card for my Step-Dad who just had surgery for an Aneurysm in his stomach. He got home today and is doing well.
For this card I printed out a rectangle and filled it with the music note paper from the Imagine More cartridge. Next. also from that cartridge (the only cartridge I have so far) I chose the shape and chose it as layer because I didn't want the word that printed on it, I wanted to be able to stamp my own sentiment. It turned out better than I hoped.
Supplies:
Paper: White (Recollections), Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery & Marina Mist (SU)
Stamps: Everyday Greetings (Scrappy Mom's)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento)

Thanks for stopping by.
