Emma's challenge this week over at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is to use the Paisley cartridge. Much to my dismay I do not have this cartridge (yet). The theme is back to school. This week I decided to do post it note holder for the teachers desk. As I do not have the cartridge I used Plantin SchoolBook for the apple. The apple was cut at 2" on Roly Poly. I cut it out 3 times, once in red, once in brown and once in green and then cut the stem and the leaf. I also folded the leaf in half and put it through my crimper before I attached it. I wrapped ribbon around the picture frame and used glue dots to hold it in place so I could hook the pen on it.
Supplies:
Paper: Sweet Stack (DCWV), and red, green and brown scraps
Acrylic 4" x 6"picture frame (dollar store), mini gel pens (dollar store)
post it notes (staples)
Ribbon: pink (Wal-Mart)
Stamps: Peachy Keen Everyday Face Assortment, Apple -Tart & Tangy (SU)
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Glorious Green Markers (SU), Memento Tuxedo Black and White signo uni-ball pen

Oh my goodness, that is so adorable!
Great job. This is the second one I have seen in the last few days. I'm totally gonna have to make one of these for each of my children's teachers this yr. I mean really? Who couldn't use a stack of post-its?
