8 Months til Christmas Blog Hop 2013

Well it is 8 months until Christmas and I really thought that we would have some warmer weather by now.  Every time we get snow my husband says "this will be the last of it" and the next week it is snowing again.  I have had enough of it.
On with the blog hop, if you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop with us you can start at Shari's blog.
Our theme for this month is Animals.  I used a reindeer as the animal on both of my projects.  My first project is a card using Copic markers and a stamp by Recollections.
Copics:
E00, E33, E35, E37
B00, B02
R22, R24, R29
YG67

For my second project I used vinyl in a picture frame.  The frame is 7.5" x 15" which is wider than most cardstock so I used wrapping paper for the background.  I flipped my designs so that I could stick them to the back of the glass.
A couple of weeks ago we had Scrapfest in Kitchener and my daughter and I went and did some shopping.  I was also lucky enough to finally be able to meet up with one of my fellow blog hop friends, Heather.  We have been talking for a couple of years now and have been wanting to meet up.  She is just as adorable in person and I really enjoyed meeting her and her lovely parents.  We will now have to plan to get together with more of our local blog hop friends.

The next stop on the blog hop is Tara's blog

Kerry, I was going to put our picture on my post today too but when you read it, you will see that I was so late posting I forgot :) Your card and picture are lovely. All your vinyl projects make me want to try one. Hugs!!

P.S. A ladies night out sounds great since we all live pretty close.

Kerry,

Love your card and project! Great job colouring that reindeer and your second project makes such a great decor item. I always look forward to seeing what you create :)

Scrapfest was great (spent way too much money) but got lots of new toys to play with LOL
