Emma's challenge this week over at
http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is to use the Paisley cartridge. Much to my dismay I do not have this cartridge (yet). The theme is back to school. This week I decided to do post it note holder for the teachers desk. As I do not have the cartridge I used Plantin SchoolBook for the apple. The apple was cut at 2" on Roly Poly. I cut it out 3 times, once in red, once in brown and once in green and then cut the stem and the leaf. I also folded the leaf in half and put it through my crimper before I attached it. I wrapped ribbon around the picture frame and used glue dots to hold it in place so I could hook the pen on it.

Paper: Sweet Stack (DCWV), and red, green and brown scraps
