6 Months 'til Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the 6 Months 'til Christmas Blog Hop.  If you came from Mary's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and want to start at the beginning the go on over to Mary's blog.  Each month on the 25th of the month 7 of us are making two Christmas cards, one using a colouring medium and one using a die cutting machine.  When Christmas comes around we will not have to worry about finding the time to get our cards done.  I hope that you will play along with us.
My first card technically uses Copics and the Cricut but I am using it as my colouring medium card.
 Supplies:
Paper:  Red (Recollections), Christmas Stack (Retired, DCWV)
Stamps: PK-326 Gingerbread Peaker Lg, Christmas Wishes (My Pink Stamper)
Cartridge:  Simply Charmed
Dies:  Scallop and Stitched Circle dies (My Creative Time)
Ink: Tuxedo Black(Momento), Frayed Burlap, Fired Brick(Tim Holtz Distress Inks)
Copics:  E00, E33, E35, G02, G07, R20, R21
Embellishments:  White Liquid Applique, White Enamel Accents

For my second card I used the Jolly Holiday Cricut cartridge for the wreath with My Minds Eye Distressed Wood paper and Stampin Up ribbon.

~GIVEAWAY~
I am giving away this adorable stamp from Peachy Keen stamps that I showcased in my first card.  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and leave a way to get in touch with you.  You don't need to be a  follower to win but I would love it if you were.  You have until Friday June 29th to leave a comment and I will announce the winner on Saturday.

Our Anniversary

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary.  I am so luck to have found the love of my life.  I had to kiss a lot of frogs and one really bad marriage but he was worth the wait.
This is the card that I made for my hubby, he had to point out that we are really skinny in this picture. lol  I also stamped inside the card "I love you more than chocolate" both stamps are from MCT 100% Sweetness stamp set.  Daryl knows how much I love chocolate so I must love him a lot.  The cut is from the Sweethearts cartridge.

This weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge over at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is a colour challenge(for my US friends I am Canadian and we add a u to some words like colour and favour).  The colours are blue, green, orange and brown and the use of any older cartridge.

Man cards

This first card was for my husbands birthday.  I used the Father's Day cartridge for the car and the Diamond Plate cuttlebug folder used on silver SU cardstock
The second is a Father's Day card for my Dad.  My Mom just got back from a trip to England.  I was born in England and came to Canada when I was almost 10yrs old.  I asked my Mom to look for a stamp set with typically English images.  My Dad will get a kick out of this card with the Double Decker bus.  I remember as a kid I loved riding on the top of the bus.

Supplies
Paper:  Crumb Cake (SU), Worn Wood, (MME)
Stamps: Portobello Road (Urban Stamps), Teeny Tiny Wishes(SU)
Punches & Dies: Labels Four (Spellbinders), Modern Label punch, Word Window(SU)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento), Frayed Burlap (Distress Ink), White Gelly Roll
Copics: W3, C5, 100, R22, R29

Craft Room Reorganized

This post has LOTS of photos.  My daughter had moved back home just over a year ago and brought all of her craft supplies.  So my craft room was pretty crowded.  She moved out a couple of weeks ago and I have reorganized.  My husband bought me a new 8ft long table and a local dollar store was closing and went in and asked if they wanted to sell their card rack.  For $40 I got this awesome card rack that has 64 slots for cards.

This is how I store my scraps, in these drawers.  My white and patterned scraps are in plastic drawers closer to where I sit.

I hope you like my room!

Throwback Thursday Challenge~Altered Item

This weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time is to alter an item and use a cricut cut from any older cartridge.  I decided to decorate my laptop with vinyl using the Wall Decor and More cartridge.  I love this cartridge, I wish they would make another cartridge like this one.
