Name Frame

A co-worker of my daughters is getting married this weekend and my daughter asked me to make this.  She wanted something rustic looking so we found this empty frame at michaels and bought a piece of glass for it.  We bought a small roll of burlap and laid it under the glass and I cut the vinyl for on top of the glass.

Love Soccer Layout

I may have mentioned it before (lol), but I love my Silhouette Cameo.  I wanted to show you how I am planning out my whole layout in the Silhouette Designer Studio.  I put all of my cuts together and fill them with the colours and papers that I want to use.  This first photo is a screen shot of the layout I have planned.
The second photo is a screen shot of how I have everything laid out on my 12 x 24 mat.  This just my cuts, I did a separate page to just print the soccer ball photo mats and I just cut them with my paper trimmer.
This is how it turned out.  I have started making a few layouts in my Sil DS and just have to cut them out when I am ready.

The title Love Soccer is from http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/50-store/love-soccer-title.php but it is also available from the Silhouette online store, which is where the other cuts are from as well as the soccer ball digi paper file.

Anniversary Card

Today is our 4th Wedding Anniversary.  I haven't had a day off in 3 weeks and have another week to go until our holidays so I have been really busy.   I didn't get my husbands card done until this morning.  I had it planned out in my Silhouette Design Studio and just had to cut it.
I wrote out this saying in my DS as well and then printed it.  I love that I don't have to have so many sentiment stamps.  I can just type them and choose my font.

Guy Card and Beer Mug

Yesterday was my husbands Birthday so I had to whip up a card for him.  I cut out these gears from the Silhouette online store in black and red and then added some brads that look like screws.
This is a mug that I did for a Father's Day gift with the guys from Duck Dynasty.

Mother's Day Card and Tumblers

I made a couple of tumblers for Mother's Day and filled them with a nail polish, a nail polish remover and a nail file.

This is the card that I made for my Mom.  The card and the flower are files from the Sil store.  All of the papers that I used are SU.

8 Months til Christmas Blog Hop 2013

Well it is 8 months until Christmas and I really thought that we would have some warmer weather by now.  Every time we get snow my husband says "this will be the last of it" and the next week it is snowing again.  I have had enough of it.
On with the blog hop, if you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop with us you can start at Shari's blog.
Our theme for this month is Animals.  I used a reindeer as the animal on both of my projects.  My first project is a card using Copic markers and a stamp by Recollections.
Copics:
E00, E33, E35, E37
B00, B02
R22, R24, R29
YG67

For my second project I used vinyl in a picture frame.  The frame is 7.5" x 15" which is wider than most cardstock so I used wrapping paper for the background.  I flipped my designs so that I could stick them to the back of the glass.
A couple of weeks ago we had Scrapfest in Kitchener and my daughter and I went and did some shopping.  I was also lucky enough to finally be able to meet up with one of my fellow blog hop friends, Heather.  We have been talking for a couple of years now and have been wanting to meet up.  She is just as adorable in person and I really enjoyed meeting her and her lovely parents.  We will now have to plan to get together with more of our local blog hop friends.

The next stop on the blog hop is Tara's blog

Baby Shower Banner and Gift

We had a baby shower at work for a couple of girls, one who had a baby boy and another who is due next month and doesn't know what she is having.  I made this gender neutral banner for the shower.  I used my Cricut E2 and the Pretty Pennants cartridge and the pre-loaded Alphabet cartridge for the font.  I also used the Stitched XL Label Die by My Creative Time and the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder.

As a gift I made this print and cut subway art from the Silhouette online store.  I just did the print feature on it though.

Tumblers

This was my first attempt at vinyl on tumblers.  I personalized each of  these for my Nieces and Nephew and then I filled them with some Easter candy.

This was also my first try at layering things like the Spiderman and the soccer ball.  I will need some practice with it.

9 Months til Christmas 2013 Blog Hop

Another month closer to Christmas and hopefully another month closer to some warm weather.  I have had enough of winter. If you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to start at the beginning then you can go to Shari's blog.
Our theme for this month is the colour green.  I should have double checked the theme before I started my first project.  It was origanlly painted purple and then when I checked and saw that the theme was green I ran to Michaels and picked up this awesome green metalic acrylic paint.  It turned out really nice.  This is a leftover piece of MDF that I had used for chalkboards last Christmas.  This one measures 21"x13".
The words are cut in white vinyl and were cut in two sections and then matched up.  I will definitly be making more of these for Christmas gifts.

My next project is a fun and sexy card.  We all have that one person that this card would be perfect for, that might want this for Christmas. lol  As soon as I saw this digi stamp I knew that I had to have it.  It is by Redonkulous Designs, they have some hilarious digi stamps available.  The link to this stamp is right below, be sure to look around at their other digi's.
Stamp:https://www.redonkulousdesigns.com/Digital-Stamps/special-delivery-digital-stamp

You Are My Sunshine

I made this for a baby shower gift.  I like that it is appropriate for a babies room but could be used anywhere in the home and it isn't babyish.
The saying is cut from vinyl and attached to the grey polka dot paper.

Be sure to stop by on Monday for the 9 Months til Christmas Blog Hop.

Clean And Simple

Here are a couple of clean and simple cards using leaves from the Sil store.  I really like this cut and think it would look really good in a frame.  I used a couple of new Cuttlebug folders for the background.  They are chicken wire and quartrefoil.
I love the touch of Calipso Coral from SU.
Thanks for stopping by.  I will have a new home decor post on Wednesday.

Cupcake Toppers

My daughter was asked to make 8 doz. cupcakes for a baby shower.  She is making fondant for for 1/2 of them and I make toppers for the other 1/2.
I designed these using files from the Sil store and print and cut them.  I think I got the easy part of the job. LOL  Making 96 cupcakes is a lot of cupcakes.

10 Months 'til Christmas 2013 Blog Hop

Another month down!  Where does the time go?  If you came from Sara's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop along with us then go to Shari's blog to start at the begining.
This year we are doining two projects, they could be cards, bags, tags, anything to do with Christmas and we will be have a theme each month.  This months theme is Red, White and another colour, I chose Green.
My first project is a card using Copic markers and I also used my Silhouette to cut out the digi stamp.  The digi is Lantern Marci by La La Land stamps
 Copics:
R24, R29, R35, R59
C3, C5, C7, 100
YG61, YG63, YG67
Y11, Y13, Y15, YR02, YR21
E000, E00, E11, R20

My second project is a decor item.  I used a file from the Silhouette online store and cut out each of the layers.  Do you see how thin the font is for the  "Tis the".  That was cut with the Silhouette out of cardstock.  Have I told you how much I love the Sihouette Cameo?  Well, actually I think I have many times (lol), but I really do.  After I layered everything and glittered the letters with my glitter pen I placed it in a 5x7 frame.
This month our guest designer is the very talented Janis from Pause Dream Joy.  Your next stop on the blog hop is  Tara's blog
