Cricut Imagine Tags and RGB Codes

The other day I saw a video at My Pink Stamper showing tags that Robyn made from the colours and patterns on the Imagine cartridges.  The very first project I did when I got my Imagine was using the Stampin Up RGB codes (google it there are lots of blogs with lists of RGB codes).  I used 2 1/2" squares from the stock shapes and using the RGB codes I created all of the Stampin Up colours.  If you don't know how use the RGB codes.  There is a square that is multi-coloured between you stock colours and the cartridge patterns.  Click on it and the colour wheel will appear and if you move the pointer around on the colour wheel you will see the numbers to the left changing.  RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue.  Adjust the numbers to make the colour you want according to your RGB Code and Apply.  I wrote the name of the colour on the front of the tag and on the back I wrote the RGB code

A while back I saw a video on Youtube showing these tags showing the Imagine colours and patterns.  I really like that I can see all of the patterns and colours side by side.  It hooks perfectly inside the case.  Check out the video here .

Baby Announcements

My daughters BFF is due any day now and is having a little boy.  His room is decorated with monkeys in brown and green.  So I made up a package of announcement cards to give her.  I used my Imagine with the Nursery Tails and Create a Critter cartridges.  The original announcement card had a giraffe layer.  I didn't cut that.  I placed the monkey over top of a little tree.  I then packaged them up with envelopes and added a matching topper.

Supplies:
Paper:  White (Recollections), Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip (SU)
Ink:  Brown (Momento), White Gelly Roll Pen
Stamps:  Well Scripted (SU)
Ribbon:  Chocolate Chip (SU)
Embellishment:  Seeing Spots (Cuttlebug folder)

I am so honoured to be included in this hop with all of these super talented Canadian crafters.

Now onto my card. I am using a stamp from the Canadian stamp company Stamping Bella . When I first started making cards 2 years ago I would surf the web looking at cards that others had made and I came across adorable cards made with Stamping Bella stamps. I was thrilled to find out that they were Canadian and when I told my husband about my find he offered to take me to their store about 1 1/2 hours away. He sat out in the car and told me to take my time while I went in. About an hour later I came out with about 15 stamps.

Paper: Card base Crumb Cake (SU), patterned paper All About Girls Stack (DCWV)
