Father's Day and Anniversary Cards.

This is the Father's Day card I made for my Step-Father.  I used the Father's Day cartridge and all of the paper used is Stampin Up.
My husband and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary on June 20th.  My DH bought me an Imagine for my anniversary gift, so I have been playing around with it when I can.  I had bought my DH a new camera lens for his Birthday/Anniversary gift so when I saw this frame on the Imagine I knew I had to make something for him with it.  I cut it out before I even knew what I was going to do with it.  Once I had cut it out I thought it would be good with a wedding picture in it.  The stamp on the outside is from Scrappy Mom's Everyday Greetings and the stamp on the inside of the card is from My Creative Times, Turn that Frown Upside Down.

Throwback Thursday Challenge~Lite Cartridge

This weeks Throwback Thursday challenge at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is to use any Lite cartridge.  I chose to use the ballet shoes from the Twinkle Toes cartridge, it is an adorable cartridge.  As I just got my Imagine I had to use that too.  I cut and printed the frame from the Imagine More cartridge and I also used the Imagine to cut and print the ballet shoes.  I ran the purple frame through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder.  The card base and the mat are both Certainly Celery from SU.  I also used my Sakura glitter pen around the frames.  The stamp is from Pink-licious by My Pink Stamper.

I got an Imagine!

When Provo Craft first announced the Imagine, I thought "this is awesome".  I watched video's and looked at projects and then thought "no, this isn't for me".  I was really convinced until just recently that I didn't want one and I was excited to see what the E2 had to offer.  I loved the E2 and still do but then the Theresa Collins cartridges were released and all of  a sudden I fell in love.
I was looking on Ebay last week looking for the Playtime cartridge and came across a Canadian seller with an Imagine and it was at $199 with 24 hrs to go.  I told my husband and he said that would make a great anniversary gift (our 2nd anniversary is June 20th).  He went online right away and placed a bid and I started watching video's on YouTube to learn whatever I could.  The next day when it came down to the end he got it for $225 with only $19 for shipping.  It was shipped immediately and it was here the following day while I was working a 12 hour day.  I couldn't wait to get home to check it out.  Everything went smoothly with the updates and syncs for the Imagine and the Gypsy.  There are still some updates that I would like to see on the Gypsy to improve what can be done with the imagine but I am sure they will come.

This is the first card that I made.  I needed a card for my Step-Dad who just had surgery for an Aneurysm in his stomach.  He got home today and is doing well.
For this card I printed out a rectangle and filled it with the music note paper from the Imagine More cartridge.  Next. also from that cartridge (the only cartridge I have so far) I chose the shape and chose it as layer because I didn't want the word that printed on it, I wanted to be able to stamp my own sentiment.  It turned out better than I hoped.

Supplies:
Paper:  White (Recollections), Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery & Marina Mist (SU)
Stamps: Everyday Greetings (Scrappy Mom's)
Ink:  Tuxedo Black (Momento)
Cartridges:  Imagine More
